My Current Litters

Paddington - My charming Argente hood boy, leader of the cage, adores fuss, lets children play with him and looks after the sick and babies

I occasionally have litters but i do not always have babies available. If there are any babies needing homes they will go on here so please keep checking as this is the easiest source of updated info. I will also be setting up a database for those willing to wait to enter their details so i know what order you are on in the waiting list.

I mainly home privately with friends who stay in contact. I do this so that I have as large a gene pool as possible to breed the healthiest and longest lived rats. If you are interested in taking rats and staying in contact and having them avaiable for me to borrow and breed if they turn out exceptional then please contact me and make that clear in the contact as I am always after help in perfecting the health of my rat line as that is my aim in breeding, to produce the healthing rats possible.

I have not had babies available for a little while but it looks like I will very soon. Paddington, the boy in the picture above have been bred with my darling girl maple and had 11 babies and one of his sons romeo has been bred with pebbles and she is swollen and due any time. The details of these litters will be up here soon.

You are welcome to meet any of my ratties if you want to find out what rats are like.  Rats also do best in pairs and you can get a pair of the pedigree babies for $60.

Raising babies

With my rats I do the breeding for love of the rats, not to make a profit and generally lose money on raising litters. My aim is to raise big fat healthy rats that have been handled since birth and fed s26 soy milk with honey and brown sugar and nutrient supplements and dry mix and dinners and cereal and treats. I raise them in as perfect conditions as I can achieve in a temperature controlled family room with all of the love and attention they could want. I am also happy to offer help and advice and send and receive updates and share loads of photos of the growing babies. If you want to provide a loving home for these babies I would be happy to put you on my waiting list and stay in contact with you.
